We are a passionate team of experts from two powerful worlds – Agriculture and Information Technology – united by a shared mission: to revolutionize how fresh farm produce, starting with onions, reaches every home and business in India. Our Roots
We come from a farmer community, and we love to grow farmers by providing them with direct market access, fair pricing, and consistent demand. The journey of FromFarmer.in began with a simple yet powerful idea – cutting down unnecessary layers in the supply chain between the farmer and the consumer. A couple of our core team members hail from Nashik, Maharashtra – a city globally known for its rich onion and grape production. Nashik, also known as the Wine Capital of India, is home to fertile lands, progressive farmers, and a tradition of agricultural excellence. Growing up in this environment, we witnessed both the potential and the pain points of Indian farming – especially the way fresh produce like onions is handled, priced, and distributed.

We decided to begin our journey with onions because they are one of the most essential and widely consumed vegetables in every Indian household.
